What the app sees, what it stores, and what happens when you clean up your camera roll.

Does DayClear upload my photos?

No. Photos are read and displayed directly from your device library. They are not uploaded to Umor, Firebase, or another DayClear server.

Do I need an account?

No. DayClear has no account system, login, cloud profile, or cross-device synchronization.

What does DayClear save?

It saves small local records such as reminder preferences, review checkpoints, review statistics, and the device identifiers of photos you mark for later. It does not save copies of your photos.

Does DayClear delete photos automatically?

No. You choose which photos to mark, review the selection, and confirm deletion. Your operating system may then request its own confirmation.

Can I recover a deleted photo?

Your device may place deleted photos in Recently Deleted for a limited time. Recovery and permanent deletion are controlled by Apple Photos, Google Photos, or the photo service configured on your device.

What is limited photo access?

On supported Apple devices, you can allow DayClear to see only selected photos. You can choose more later from DayClear or device Settings. Reviews can include only photos currently visible to the app.

How do reminders work?

Reminders are scheduled locally on your phone. You choose the time and whether they occur daily, every two days, weekly, or monthly. You can disable them at any time.

What happens if I change time zones?

When DayClear next opens or returns to the foreground, it detects the change and rebuilds reminders at your chosen local time.

What happens when I uninstall DayClear?

The operating system removes DayClear’s ordinary local application data. Your photo library remains unchanged. Android application backup is disabled for DayClear.
